ISA Certified
Hansen's takes employee training and safety seriously. Hansen’s employs 11 International Society of Arboriculture-certified arborists, making the company one of the most accredited tree service companies in the St. Louis area. The International Society of Arboriculture is a worldwide professional organization dedicated to fostering a greater appreciation for trees and to promoting research, technology, and the professional practice of arboriculture. To maintain certification, each arborist must accumulate 30 units of continuing education every three years.
STA Certified
Hansen’s compost is STA-certified, which means it follows the U.S. Seal of Testing Assurance Program, the only program that certifies the quality of compost. In order to hold this certification, Hansen’s compost products undergo regular testing offer technical data and test results to customers. The test guidelines ensure the product contains the proper nutrients for optimum plant growth.
TCIA Certified
In 2005, Hansen’s was the first tree-care company in the state certified by the Tree Care Industry Association. TCIA develops safety and education programs, standards of tree care practice, and management information for arboriculture firms around the world. By using a TCIA-certified company, consumers can be assured of hiring a professional, ethical tree care company that has been inspected by TCIA for proper business practices, professional employees, quality service and customer satisfaction.
